The Vitalink family of products designed for the Petrochemical market utilize an innovative technology that allows the cable to survive and operate during a fire. They have been designed as a flexible alternative to stainless steel MI cable. The products employ a unique silicone rubber insulation material that maintains physical and electrical integrity when exposed to flame conditions. The cables are rated for 30 minutes to one hour in a rapid rise profile at 2000°F for a petrochemical hydrocarbon pool fire. In addition to maintaining the integrity of the product, the design also provides ease of installation and engineering flexibility.
